Cory Sandhagen Early Life
Sandhagen was born on 20 April 1992 in Aurora, Colorado, and raised here. He attended Smoky Hill High School, where he played basketball, a sport he has been involved with since a young age. He eventually developed an interest in combat sports, starting with kickboxing, where he won numerous WKA titles.
Sandhagen started making the switch to mixed martial arts after capturing a WKA world championship. Sandhagen studied psychology at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he received his degree.

On February 24, 2017, at LFA 5, Sandhagen made his Legacy Fighting Alliance debut against Jamall Emmers, losing by a unanimous decision. On January 19, 2018, at LFA 31, Sandhagen made his final outing for the Legacy Fighting Alliance, winning by first-round TKO over Jose Aguayo.
