Debra Antney born on 10 March 1962 in McDonough, Georgia, United States. She grew up in Jamaica, Queens, NY, United States. Brought up in a financially poor family, she was forced to trade drugs at an early age. She worked as a lookout for her father who was an addict and dealer himself. She was the elder one amongst nine children. In order to support her family, she landed a position with the Georgia Department of Family and Children’s Services. Before that, she tried her luck in different businesses such as baby sitting, lemonade stand, makeshift animal hospitals, and cleaning establishments.

Deb rose to fame after founding her own talent management firm called Mizay Entertainment in 2007. Name is derived from her other name Ms. A (MizA), used by several artists she met at her 9-5 job. Those artists include then-upcoming rappers Ludacris and David Banner. The media mogul is known as a pioneer in hip-hop industry. She is known for launching the careers of many famous artists such as: Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane, OJ Da Juiceman, French Montana, Lex Luger, her own son Waka Flocka Flame and more.
Her promoted artists have won several awards especially BET awards. She launched the radio station Be100 Radio in 2013. It provides quality content on news, music, poetry, comedy, shows, and sports. Currently, she serves as the chief executive officer of Atlanta based Mizay Entertainment. She is actively involved social work. To fight against cyberbullying, she founded an organization called R.I.P-No Reckless Internet Posting, after her son committed suicide. Deb Antney also works at Cobalt Publishing as a publisher.
