Francesco Molinari Early life and Amateur Career:

Molinari was born in Turin Italy on 8 November 1982. He has won Amateur Stroke Play Championship twice and in 2004 he won the Italian Match Play Championship.

Molinari turned professional in 2004 and his professional wins are 10. He earned his European card in 2005. In 2006, he had his first victory in Telecom Italia Open. He ranked 38th in Order of Merit. During the years 2007 and 2009, he didn’t win on any tour instead he was a runner-up.

On 2009, Molinari and his brother won the Omega Mission Hills World Cup in China. During 201, he won the WGC-HSBC Championship, and he defeated Lee Westwood. Molinari also won the singles match. He won the European Tour Golfer of the Year award in 2018 and the European Tour Players’ Player of the Year award.

In 2019, he won Arnold Palmer Invitational for his 3rd PGA Tour victory.
