Heather Thomson Early Life

Heather Thomson was born on 7 April 1970 in New York, State of New York, United States. She was born to a British father named Ronald Thomson and her mother Emily Franks. She attained a BA in Communication and media studies from The State University of New York College at Plattsburgh in 1992. Thomson is a Christian by faith. She is a certified nutrition and wellness educator since August 2017. She generously donates to several organizations. Before getting famous as Yummie, she worked as a designer and stylist for many famous stars. That includes Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce Knowles, and Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs. She was also the co-Director of Design for streetwear fashion company Sean John.

Heather started her main fashion line in 2008 by the name Yummie Tummie. She came up with the idea of Yummie Tummie by Heather Thomson after giving birth to her children. The basic idea in launching Yummie was to provide women with shapewear, that was sexy and yummier than the existing options. Yummie Tummie was later re-branded as Yummie by her. She is all the creative brains behind sustaining this fashion line. Her shapewear line has penetrated the market quite well.

Appearing on the reality tv show Real Housewives of New York added to her fame immensely. She debuted in season 5 and stayed through season 7 of the show. She made brief appearances until season 13.Heather Thomson left the show in September 2021. The reason is, that she generated negative feelings about the Housewives universe overall.
