Jenna Marbles was born on 15 September 1986 in Rochester, New York, United States. Her father is a successful chemist and she also has a brother. Jenna went to Brighton High School and her alma matter is Suffolk University, where she graduated in Psychology. She then earned a Masters degree in sports psychology and counseling from Boston University.
She was not in a very good condition financially; she supported herself by bar tendering, working at a tanning saloon, vlogging & go-go dancing at nightclubs. After graduating, she lived in a three-bedroom shared apartment in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In June 2020, she uploaded an apology video for the content posted in those previous years saying ‘she is ashamed, awful and sad to be a part of it’. Her apology received positive feedback from audience. Offensive videos included impersonation of Nicki Minaj, rapping anti-Asian slander & shaming women who slept with more than one person.
