To avoid confusion with the short-lived teen sitcom The Marshall Chronicles, the show was later renamed, Seinfeld. It had surpassed all other sitcoms on American television by the end of its third season. Since the show’s final episode aired in 1998 this was any show ever that was rerun by the network on regular basis. The only actor to appear in every episode of the show is Jerry Seinfeld itself. The former Seinfeld cast and crew produced audio commentary tracks for each episode of the show’s DVD releases from 2004 to 2007.

Seinfeld started a YouTube series in 2012 called Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee in which he would pick up a different comedian every episode and drive them to a coffee shop for a discussion. The program was first broadcast on the streaming platform Crackle before being purchased by Netflix. Two new Seinfeld stand-up specials, the creation of written and non-scripted comedy programs for Netflix, as well as the streaming of Seinfeld and Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee were all included in a deal that Seinfeld made with the streaming service Netflix.

Jerry Seinfeld Books

Nancy’s Letters from a Nut series and Ed Broth’s Stories from a Moron both have forewords written by Seinfeld. Seinfeld also wrote the foreword of the Peanut Butter & Co. Cookbook.
