Born in Quincy, Illinois, Henry grew up between Illinois and Arkansas. He was born to a family of soybean farmers. Henry developed an asthmatic condition and at the age of 15, his family had to move him to Apple Valley, California.
Henry completed his high school education from Victor Valley High School in Victorville. He joined Victor Valley College and later started studying philosophy at the University of California. However, he didn’t complete his degree.
