He was the middle child of three brothers when he was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on 17 October 1962. Judge’s father, William worked as an archaeologist in his town, and Margaret, mike’s mother was a librarian in a library. His family relocated to a town in Albuquerque, New Mexico when he was just seven. There, he initially attended St. Pius X High School in Mexico, and then for higher studies, he went to the University of California, San Diego, in 1985 to earn a Bachelor of Science in physics.
Judge Career Beginnings
Judge worked briefly in physics and mechanical engineering after graduating from college, but he soon got disinterested in the subject. In 1987, he relocated to Silicon Valley to work for the fledgling video card business Parallax Graphics, but he left after less than three months to play bass in Anson Funderburgh’s blues band. In Richardson, Texas, Mike bought a small 16mm film camera from savings and started making the very first animated films of his career.
When Judge and former “Simpsons” writer Greg Daniels created the animated series “King of the Hill” in 1995, it was one of Judge’s greatest creative achievements. The show was a huge hit with viewers and critics, running for 13 seasons and becoming one of the longest-running American animated series in television history. Judge with his fellows co-created the third television series of his career, “The Goode Family,” where he also voiced different characters, after making small appearances on other shows like “The Simpsons,” “Frasier,” and “Aqua Teen Hunger Force.”
With the 1996 release of “Beavis and Butt-Head Do America,” a feature-length remake of his popular MTV sitcom, Judge made his feature film directing debut. With a massive $12 million budget, “Beavis and Butt-Head Do America” grossed almost 63 million dollars at the box office. The 1999 movie, “Office Space” which marked his debut in live-action, featured Ron Livingston, Jennifer Aniston, and a small cameo role for Judge himself. Even though this debut “Office Space” did very poorly at the box office with great loss, the movie gained such a cult status among viewers across the country all thanks to VHS and DVD.
