Neal Brennan is an American film & tv producer, comedian, writer, director, and actor. He is known for his famous show The Chappelle’s Show which was aired from 2003-2006 until co-creator Dave Chappelle left.

Neal Brennan Personal Life:

Neal Brennan was born on 19 October 1973 in Villanova, State of Pennsylvania, United States. He was raised in an Irish-Catholic funny family with nine other siblings. He is the youngest one of all. He started writing routines for himself and his friends at the tender age of 8 or 9. He enjoyed comedy since his childhood days. He is the brother of comedian Kevin Brennan. Neal was a doorman at Boston Comedy Club where he befriended regular performer Dave Chappelle. He attended New York University for a brief period of time. He announced himself as an Atheist in July 2011. In November 2020, he said he was no more an Atheist.

Neal began his career in comedy from Los Angeles, California in mid-90s. He started as a writer for dating based show called Singled Out. He worked on various other writing projects for television including All That, Kenan and Kel, Totally Awesome, The Half Hour, Neal Brennan: Women and Black Dudes, Neal Brennan: 3 Mics and his own episode in the comedy show Comedians of the World. He wrote the movies Half Baked and The Female Brain. He rose to fame after he created and co-founded Chappelle’s Show with comedian Dave Chappelle. The show was aired on tv from 2003-2006 until the duo split up. It was the highest-rated show on tv channel Comedy Central. He Started direction work with the movie The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard. Later, he expanded his horizon outside of movies and tv shows. He acted in movies namely: Get Him to the Greek, The Female Brain, and The Opening Act. He debuted on the one-man show Unacceptable in August 2021. He started podcast called The Champs in 2011 till 2016 with comedian Moshe Kasher and DJ Douggpound.  He currently has a joint podcast with actress Bianca Siavoshy named How Neal Feel, which started back in 2019. He has an original Netflix comedy special called 3 mics which was initially started in 2015.
