Born in Davis, California, Huston had a very strict father growing up and he was introduced to skateboarding when he was five years old. In 2006, his family moved to Puerto Rico which was difficult for Huston’s skateboarding career as his board sponsor Element Skateboards were in California. After his parents got separated, he stayed with his father who was also his manager and videographer at the time for a year before his mother took full custody and he came back to California.

Huston turned professional in skateboarding in 2005 and signed a sponsorship deal with Element Skateboards. During his time in their team, he appeared in various Elemental video productions including both volumes of ‘Elementality’ series. He also competed in famous tournaments such as the Dew tours and Vans Downtown Showdown. Huston left Element in 2008 and started his own skateboard deck company I&I in 2009. His company was operational for only two years and so he returned to Element and with his return in 2011 he released a solo video titled ‘Rise and Shine’ which was awarded the ‘Best Video Part’ award by the Transworld Skateboarding magazine.

Huston was a winner of Tampa Am and K.R.3.A.M. AM in 2005. He continued to top the skateboarding competitions throughout 2006 to 2009. He won 1^st place at the Street League Skateboarding 1^st Series in 2010 and again in 2011. He also won 1^st place at X Games in 2011. In 2012, he was placed 1^st in 4 out of the 5 competition he competed in. In 2013, he secured 1^st place in TAMPA Pro, X Games, Street Leagues Skateboarding, and Kimberley Diamond Cup. In 2014, Huston secured 1^st position in six competitions he competed in. he won another Kimberley Diamond Cup in 2015.

In 2016, he was placed first in the X Games Skateboard Street, Red Bull Hart Lines Contest, and Street League Skateboarding. In 2017, he was 1^st at the Street League Pro Open. Despite his injury at the Street League Skateboarding in 2018, he managed to sure 1^st position in X Games Men’s skateboard street and Street League Skateboarding Super Crown World Championship. Houston continued dominating the competitions in 2019 and in 2021 he was 7^th at the 2020 Summer Olympics Skateboarding Men’s street. Huston is still competing in skateboarding competitions as of 2022.
