Bowlen is an American Lawyer, Executive, and owner of the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. Pat was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2019. He owned many other professional sports franchises. He was Broncos’ CEO from 1984 to 2014. Pat left it due to his Alzheimer’s Disease.

He was born on 28 February 1944. His mother is Arvella, and his father is Paul Dennis Bowlen. His father became a millionaire in the oil business and now it is owned by his brother John. Bowlen went to Champion High School a boarding school. In 1965 he got a degree in business and law 1968 from the University of Oklahoma. He played football as well for Oklahoma Sooners and Edmonton Huskies. From the year 1962 to 1964 he played at Canadian Junior Football League Championship. He became a successful lawyer.
Career
Pat had an interest in football and played in his freshman year and junior year. Pat was also a part of three matches at the Canadian Junior Football League Championship. He became a successful lawyer in Edmonton, Alberta. Bowlen had an executive post in his father’s company and was also a real estate developer. He did some investments in the mining business. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity. In 1969 he received bar admission and became a member of the Law Society of Albert and the Canadian Bar Association.

He bought an interest in the Denver Broncos of the National Football League in 1984. The price was $70 million, and this made it a high-priced franchise. From the year 1999 to 2008 Pat and the Broncos were in many legal battles against owner Edgar Kaiser Jr. a share of the team was given to John Elway. In the 2010-11 season, Bowlen and the Broncos hired a new coach, John Fox.
He owned Broncos and was also the part-time owner of Arena Football League’s Colorado Crush. Crush won the Arena Football League Championship in 2005 and entered AFL in 2003. In 2006 Major League Lacrosse expanded its league by adding Denver Outlaws. It was the most winning franchise he ever owned.

He died due to Pulmonary Embolism. He died on 13 June 2019 in Englewood, Colorado, the U.S. he wanted his kids to inherit his money and franchise.
