Sergio Garcia Career
After starting his professional career, Garcia played in many golfing tournaments including European tours, PGA tours, and LIV Golf Invitational series. During his career as a professional golfer, Garcia has also won 36 international tournaments including 11 PGA tour wins and 16 European Tour wins. In 2008, he won Players Championship and in 2017 he won the Masters tournament. Garcia has spent almost 450 weeks in the top 10 of Official World Golf Ranking. After his 2008 win, Garcia performed very poorly in 2009 and 2010. However, he regained his form in 2011 and had a good season throughout the year.
In 2013, Garcia and Tiger Woods had a public feud due to 2013 Players Championships. Garcia faced some backlash after he made some racist comments against Woods. He later apologized for his behavior.
After his win at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters in 2014, he secured a place for himself in top 10 ranking again. He was also a runner up at 2014 Open Championship.
