American former professional basketball player Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal, also known as “Shaq,” is a sports analyst on the television show Inside the NBA. Over the course of his 19-year NBA (National Basketball Association) career, he played for six different clubs, winning four NBA championships.

Lucille O’Neal and Joe Toney welcomed their son Shaquille O’Neal into this world on March 6, 1972 in Newark, New Jersey but his father left shortly after Shaq was born soon after he was released from prison for drug charges, and his parents never wed.

O’Neal mother wed Phillip Harrison, a sergeant in the prestigious American Army, when he just a two years old baby and the family relocated from Newark to Texas and then in Germany.
