Early Career
Khan started his boxing career around the age of 11 years. During this time, he grabbed different titles including three junior ABA titles, three English school titles. he won a gold medal during junior Olympics in 2003. In the year 2004, at the European Student Championships held at Lithuania, Khn won gold medal. One fo his most famous early career fights was against Victor Ortiz. Khan was able to defeat him at second round.
During the start of Amir Khan’s career, he bagged a silver medal in lightweight category during 2004 Olympics. He scored this achievement when he was only 17 years old, this made him Britain’s youngest boxer to win medal during Olympics. He was also named ESPN prospect during the year 2007.
