Boris taught him the basic hockey techniques and taught him from scratch in Mexico. Then, in 2012 Auston qualified for his first game in the Western Hockey League, where he got selected among thousands of contestants. 

In the draft, he played for an American hockey team in the National Development Team and had nine matches in the season, which was the reason behind his attention and fame from the audience. 

Then after taking one year gap, he returned in the next season in which he broke all the National records by achieving 120 points in 61 Goals and 71 Assists. After this season to 2022, Auston has never missed any season. He is still working with the same organizations but on heavy payments.
