Carl Frampton is a former boxer who played between the years of 2009 to 2021. During his career days, he was earned the title of two weight world champion, WBA and IBF super bantamweight. Frampton earned these titles between 2014 to 2016. Between the year 2014 to 2016, he bagged the title of WBA (Super) featherweight. in the year 2018, he also earned the title of WBO interim featherweight. At national level, Carl earned the titles of  European and Commonwealth super-bantamweight between the years 2011 and 2014.

In the year 2016, when Frampton won the featherweight world title, he became the first northern Irlan boxer to win this title and who was able to hold this title in two weight classes. This made him win Fighter of the Year award by The Ring magazine, ESPN and the Boxing Writers Association of America.

In the year 2019, December, according to BoxRec Frampton was titled as the world fourth best active super featherweight and was termed as fifth best active featherweight according to The Ring. After he lost his fight for the title of WBO junior lightweight against Jamel Herring, Frampton retired from boxing.

During the amateur boxing time period of Frampton he played under Midland Boxing Club in Tiger’s Bay and was able to win the title of Irish Senior Flyweight in the year 2005.
