David Neeleman is an entrepreneur and Brazilian-American businessman. He is the founder of five commercial airlines: Breeze Airways, Azul Brazilian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, WestJet, and Morris Air. He is one of the most innovative and successful entrepreneurs in airline history.

David Neeleman‘s Early Life

He was born on 16 October 1959 in Sao Paulo, Brazil but he was raised in a state of Western United States Utah. David Neeleman’s father was a foreign correspondent for United Press International. David Neeleman’s grandfather owned a store and David used to worth there at the age of nine. He used to handle cash. He never spent time on extra-curricular activities and sports rather he loved to spend his time helping his grandfather in the store. David Neeleman has learned a lot from these years and laid the foundation of customer service and entrepreneurship in him.

 He completed his early years of education at Brighton High school in Utah. After Brighton high school, he got admission to the University of Utah for three years and then left the university without graduation. He has also served in the church. Career

During his college days, he started his first business. He used to sell timeshares from someone from a Hawaii company. After some time, a lot of other companies contacted him to sell their timeshares. After selling timeshares, he contacted an airline to sell him tickets. He used his mind and combined these tickets with the timeshares and made a low-budget package tour.

He was making 6 million dollars per year during his college days, so he left the college. After a downfall, he lost his money and started working as an accountant in his grandfather’s company.

Jane Morris who was the CEO of a travel agency contacted David to work with him. Then he again started working for a travel agency and soon co-founded Morris Air (airline) with June Morris in 1984. David became the president of Morris Airlines in 1988. Morris Airlines was the first airline to introduce E-ticketing. David also launched “Jetblue” the low-cost carrier with the best services for passengers in 2000. In 2020, he planned to launch the nicest airway “Breeze Airways.” This carrier will travel around the World and will be providing the best services to its customers.
