Faith Jenkins was born in Shreveport on the 21st of September, 1977. She belonged to a well-known American family who used to run a cotton and beverage business in Shreveport. There she enrolled at Byrd Girls High School for her A-levels and later went to the Tech University of Louisiana, where she received her Political Sciences and Arts undergraduate degree.
During her earlier 20s, she was a prominent participant in Beauty shows and won four beauty titles and pageants. Impressively she was the first woman from Africa to win a beauty title sponsored by Tech in the United States of America.
In 1999, she enrolled in the Law Centre of Southern University after winning Louisiana competitions and got her Juris Doctor degree in 2004 as a top scorer in her entire batch.
