On August 22, 1968, Itzler was born in Roslyn, New York. He was born to Elese Itzler and Daniel Itzler. His mother, Elise, was the head of the Roslyn Board of Education and his father, Daniel, was an inventor. He grew up in a household that valued learning and creativity. Jesse began taking lessons at the American University after completing his high school education. He graduated from there with a bachelor’s degree in 1990. Itzler valued learning and acquiring as much information as he could. After receiving his first bachelor’s degree, he continued his education and earned degrees in society, justice, and law. He began his rap music career even before earning his undergraduate degree. He worked out a deal with his professors to skip Monday classes so he could finish his debut record. Up until 2009, he was the business’s vice chairman. The first book by Itzler, “Living With a Seal: 31 Days Training with the Toughest Man on the Planet,” was published in November 2015.
