Max Martin’s Personal Life
Martin Karl Sandberg was born on 26 February 1971 in Stockholm, Sweden. His mother’s name is Lillemor Sandberg. His father was a police officer and his mother was a middle school teacher. He attended Södra Latin in Södermalm, Stockholm.
Max Career
In 1985, Max joined glam style bank It’s Alive after working with several bands. He discovered his talent for production after meeting Denniz’s PoP. In 1993, Denniz hired him for his record label Cheiron Studios. He produced the second album of the band Ace of Base called The Bridge in 1995. Martin then went on to produce the song Wish you were here by Rednex and other albums by 3T, Army of lovers, and Leila K. He left his band in 1995 after he went into the production business.
Success
Max became famous in the late 1990s. When he worked on a self-titled album by The Backstreet Boys. He participated in the production of their song Quit playing games. His other hits for the band include I want it that way, the shape of my heart. Max wrote, co-produced, and co-wrote all singles & 7 out of 12 songs for their third album called Millennium. After the death of Denniz PoP, Max was declared Director of Cheiron Studio. It was shut down in 1998 after Denniz died. In January 2001, along with Tom Talomaa, Max established a new production company called Maratone. Other hit songs to the credit of Martin are for artist Robyn namely: Show me love and Do you know (what it takes).
He also wrote Its My Life with Jon Bon Jovie and Richie Sambora.
