Robert Kirkman was born on 30 November, 1978 in Lexington, Kentucky, the U.S. Since a small age, he was a fan of zombie movies, and his favorites were Night of the Living Dead and Zombi 2. He also likes zombie video games.
Robert Kirkman Career
Kirkman wrote his first comic book named Battle Pope which is a parody. They were published under the Funk-O-Tron label and later became web series in 2008. Image comics hired Kirkman and Cory Walker for their new series Science Dog. While working on the series Kirkman and E.J. Su also worked on the 2002 image series Tech Jacket. Kirkman and Walker created Invincible in 2003. The story is about the son of the most powerful superhero, and he starts his career. Walker was replaced with Ryan Ottley because he was not meeting the deadlines and was kicked out. Paramount Pictures hired Kirkman to write the screenplay and they got the rights to produce Invincible in 2005. But due to lack of development, the film was left incomplete.
After the launch of Invincible, they worked on the series The Walking Dead. Robert was hired by Marvel comics to write the revival of the Sleepwalker series, but the book was not published due to some issues. Later he wrote Avengers Disassembled issues of Captain America, Marvel Knights 2099, and many other marvel series for Marvel Comics. His love for zombies was still alive and he created Marcel Zombies. In this the superheroes become zombies. Robert and Jason created The Astounding Wolf-Man which was launched on May 5, 2007. He and Rob Liefeld partnered to work on Killraven for Marvel comics.
In 2008 he partnered with Image Comics. In 2009 he produced Pilot Season for Top Cow Comics. In 2010 he made the comic series Walking Dead.
