Vernon Eulion Jordan Jr, aka Jordan, was born on the 15th of August, 1935, in Atlanta, Georgia. He had a tough childhood and suffered through many hardships. His first job was at 14. He did with the school to afford his sports club expenses. 

Jordan was extremely fond of sports and was an under-18 champion in tennis. After high school, he went to David Howards for his bachelor’s and did internships in restaurants and cafes. In 1957, he completed his graduation from law and business school to begin his career.

Furthermore, from 1970 to 1980, he was appointed as the Chief Executive and retired as the president of the Urban League related to Negro Educational Institute.
