Born in New York City. Penske attended various schools growing up including Cranbrook and Lawrenceville. Penske eventually completed his high school education at St. Mary’s Preparatory, Michigan. Jay was a very talented lacrosse player in his High school years. He broke Michael Powell’s record during his final season playing lacrosse. USA Today named him ‘Player of the Year in lacrosse. He was also given the titles of ‘All-league Player’, ‘All-State Player’, and ‘All American Player’ due to his skills as a lacrosse player.
Later, he joined the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Finance.
