Michael Christopher White popularly known as Mike White is an American Screen Play Writer Actor and Producer. Mike is renowned for critically acclaimed HBO series “The White Lotus” (2021). He not only penned down and co-produced “Year of the Dog” (2007) but it was also his debut in the field of direction. He is the writer and producer of Enlightened (2011).

Christopher Michael White later known as Mike White was born on 28 June 1970, in Pasadena, California, U.S.A. in the house of Lyla Lee a fund raising executive and Mel White a reverend. mike received writing in heritage, as his father also used to work a writer. He had inclination towards inscription since his childhood. Mike got his motivation for writing from his teacher (mother of famous author Sam Shephard) when he was in second grade. He got his early education from a Christian conservative “Polytechnic school” in Pasadena and subsequently Mike got himself registered at “Wesleyan University” which was quite liberal.

He also performed in films such as “Zombieland” and “Ride” as an actor; moreover he made his appearance in TV shows like “Amazon Race” and “Survivor”. Mike made his directional debut in 2007 with “Year of the Dog” which he also wrote.

Mike’s parents got divorced when his father Mel claimed to be a gay. Eventually Mel joined “Soulforce” a gay-rights organization. Mike whole hardheartedly declared himself a bisexual after witnessing his father suffering and being left alone by his mother for what he felt.
