Seven British YouTubers, Ethan Payne, Vik Barn, Tobe brown, Simon Minter, Josh Bradley, Harry Lewis, and JJ Olatunji founded the sidemen YouTube channel in 2015. SDM is another name for sidemen, and each member has his own channel. JJ Olatunji, often known as KSI, is the most well-known YouTuber in the group. As of January 2022, the group’s YouTube account has an audience of more than 15.3 million subscribers with 4 billion views. They produce videos of various challenges, comedy, and video game commentary.

Sideman biography
The beginning of Sidemen can be traced back to 2005 when JJ Olatunji and Simon became friends. The two finally met Joshua Bradley, who had been Tobit Brown’s (TBJZL) long-time friend since they were in secondary school. The four were in a voice hang out on Josh’s birthday and started watching a stream from Ethan Payne (Benzinga). Then they extended him a group invitation. Simon gave this group the moniker “The Original Five.” The group’s formal name was created by Ethan.
Vikram Barn was then invited when they began co-recording and playing GTA 5. He wasn’t as interested in FIFA as the others, but he was a fit, so he joined the group. On October 19, 2013, The Ultimate Sidemen (excluding Harry Lewis of W2S) became a legal entity. Harry was requested to record with them a few months later, in early 2014, because of his popularity on YouTube.

JJ Olatunji
29 years old Olatunde William Olatunji Jr., the most well-known member, was born on June 19, 1993, to Nigerian-born parents Jide and Yinka. He has a number of nicknames, but he prefers to go by KSI, which stands for Knowledge Strength Integrity. One of the wealthiest YouTubers in the world, KSI has over 30 million channel subscribers and a reported net worth of $15 million.
Following the breakup of his relationship with Seana, he started seeing Lois in 2017. However, he kept their relationship a secret until October 2017, when he uploaded a video titled “Mauritius with my girlfriend” in which he showed her face.

On April 8, 1993, Tobit John Brown was born to Nigerian parents in Hackney, London. He also goes by the names Tobi Lerone, TBJZL, and Tobijizzle. He attended St. Dominic’s Catholic Primary School from 1997 to 2004 before moving on to Coventry University to pursue a degree in computing. He was 11 years old when he first met Josh Bradley at Bexley Grammar School.
Ethan Payne
On June 20, 1995, Ethan Payne was born in a hospital adjacent to Upton Park, the former home of West Ham United of the English Premier League. His parents split while he was very young, and Ethan’s mother, Ruth Payne, has appeared in some of his videos. He attended Marshalls Par, a school in Romford, East London, and continued his study there in 2016, majoring in game creation at South Essex College.
Harry Lewis
Harry Lewis, the final member of the Sidemen Group, was born on November 24, 1996, in Guernsey, making him the group’s youngest member. While growing up, Harry played football for Ranger FC and attended Guernsey Grammar School. Harry started YouTube at the age of 13, and his channel, Wroetoshaw, gave him a breakthrough. For more than a decade, his YouTube channel was among the top 10 most subscribed channels in the United Kingdom. From 2014 to 2020, Harry dated Kattie Leach.
Vik Barn
Born in Guildford, Surrey, South West London, on August 2, 1995, Vikram Singh Barn is of Indian descent. From 2006 until 2013, he attended Silverdale School. After leaving, he turned down an admissions offer from the University College London to pursue natural sciences because he wanted to become a YouTuber instead. From 2015 to 2017, Vikram dated Kayleigh Wordley.
Simon Minter
Born in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England, on September 7, 1992, 29 years old Simon Edward Minter is the third most subscribed member of the Sidemen collective. Simon continued his education at the University of Hull, where his major of choice was criminology. After dropping out of school, Simon was motivated by KSI to launch his YouTube channel. Simon has three YouTube channels, and since 2018, he has been dating singer and fellow YouTuber Talia Mar.
Joshua Bradley
Josh Bradley, the group’s senior member, was born in Bermondsey, South London, on September 4, 1992. From 2004 to 2009, he was a student at Bexley Grammar School, when he first met Tobit. Josh pursued a course of study in digital film production at Ravensbourne University to continue his studies. Josh and Freya Nightingale, a fellow YouTuber, began living together in 2019.
