Steve Cook Early Life

Steve Cook got into sports and bodybuilding from a very young age. His father was an athletic director at a high school and that had a great influence on Steve Cook growing up. He joined various sports teams and was also taking part in wrestling. He was also a player in his high school football team and was already breaking weight lifting records. Steve Cook started training at a very young age with his father who was also his mentor and trainer. With all the training, Steve was already setting gym records in his high school and was known as the most muscular student in school.

Steve Cook later attended Dixie State College and was a linebacker for the Dixie State Trailblazers football team. While in college he completed his bachelor of science in integrated studies (biology/psychology).

After turning professional in the fitness field in 2010, Steve Cook took part in the Gold’s Classic Treasure Valley Natural Bodybuilding Championship and won the competition. In 2011, he competed and won the Naturally Bodybuilding Championship hosted by The NPC Iron Man magazine. Steve Cook also won a title from NPC Junior National Championship.
