Ronnie Dean Coleman better known as Ronnie Coleman is a retired American Bodybuilder. He held the Mr. Olympia title for eight straight years and he is widely recognized as either “the Greatest” or one of the two finest bodybuilders of all time, along with Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is known for his mix of size and conditioning, dominant body parts, and exceptionally heavy exercises, which has made him the strongest bodybuilder, Mr. Olympia of all time, and has won 26 IFBB professional titles.

Ronnie Coleman Early Life
On May 13, 1964, Ronnie Dean Coleman better known as Ronnie Coleman was born in Monroe, Louisiana. Ronnie earned a degree of BSc in accounting from Grambling State University in 1984. Playing for head coach Eddie Robinson, he also participated in linebacker football with the GSU (Grambling State University) Tigers while he was studying at the institute. After graduating from GSU, Ronnie was unable to obtain any employment as an accountant at any institute and so he decided to work part-time at Domino’s Pizza. After that hard work, the bodybuilder joined the Arlington Texas, police as an officer, from 1989-2000 and then as a reserve officer until 2003.

Coleman’s fellow officer Gustavo Arlotta advised him to visit Brian Dobson, an amateur bodybuilder, and his gym, Metroflex. Coleman accepted Dobson’s offer to train him for the forthcoming 1990 Mr. Texas bodybuilding contest in exchange for a lifetime membership that was provided at no cost to Coleman. He came first in the heavyweight and overall divisions after working out for the title of Mr. Texas and he also triumphed over Dobson, his trainer. In 1995, Coleman won his first professional contest, the Canada Pro Cup. He won once more the following year, going on to win the 1997 Russian Grand Prix.
His meteoric rise to the top of the professional bodybuilding circuit was relatively gradual: in 1992, when he first competed in the most prestigious competition in the world, Mr. Olympia, he was not ranked. In 1994, he finished 15th; in 1995, 10th; in 1996, sixth; and in 1997, when Dorian Yates won his sixth and final title before quitting the sport, he finished ninth. Kenneth Wheeler was expected to win the 10th individual Mr. Olympia title the following year. Coleman brought significant improvements to the stage, though, and went on to defeat Wheeler by three points for his first Mr. Olympia championship after his success at Night of Champions earlier in the year.

Coleman successfully defended his title throughout the 2005 competition, winning eight straight matches to tie Lee Haney for the most Mr. Olympia victories ever. Ronnie was the first person ever to win the most prestigious title of Mr. Olympia and Arnold Classic championships in the same year; in 2001, (only Dexter Jackson repeated this feat, in 2008). When Jay Cutler, who entered the competition as the three-time consecutive runner-up, eventually, claimed his first victory, Coleman’s reign as Mr. Olympia ended. Only twice in competition history had a reigning multi-champion Mr. Olympia lost his championship. In the previous event, Sergio Oliva was defeated in the year 1970 by Arnold Schwarzenegger. In 2007, Coleman competed in his final Mr. Olympia and finished fourth.
Coleman has gone over the world to promote his career, which has been made possible by his success as a professional bodybuilder.
